It’s a Boy for Mark Wahlberg and Girlfriend
Actor Mark Wahlberg and his model girlfriend Rhea Durham welcomed a son last Wednesday in Los Angeles, Durham’s manager has confirmed.
“Rhea’s very happy,” her manager, Liz Dagostino, told the Associated Press.
No further details were provided. However in January Wahlberg told PEOPLE that they had already picked a name for their son: “My dad called me Mike since I was a kid. So in honor of my dad, I think we’re going to name him Michael.”
Wahlberg, 34, who’s one of nine children (including former New Kids on the Block singer Donnie, 36), also has a 2-year-old daughter Ella Rae, with Durham, 27.Â
The actor said he’s gotten parenting advice from his mother who told him “to learn to say no. (But) anything my daughter wants or anything she does is fine with me.”
Of fatherhood, Wahlberg told PEOPLE last year, “It changes every aspect of your life, and every one for the better.”

Congradulations! You couldn’t loose with the Name Michael. I am bias though. Just a quick thank you for speaking to my mother 2001 Christmas Day. As you knbow when you were with my son MICHAEL I could not be there for her. In any event my Michael is finally marrying Kelly at St. Monica’s June 16 5:30 pm, in Southie.
