Just a day after reports that Travis Barker and Paris Hilton made out in front of clubgoers in New York, Barker’s estranged wife Shanna Moakler said that she feels “betrayed” by the news. 

Hilton and Barker were spotted at New York hot spot Butter Monday night at a party hosted by Kanye West. Hilton’s rep said on Tuesday: “They like each other. Paris really likes him. Beyond that I cannot comment.”

John Mayer is speaking out for the first time about his fling with Jessica Simpson, 26. In an interview with Access Hollywood’s Nancy O’Dell scheduled to air tonight, the 28-year-old singer neither confirms nor denies the coupling, but does assure fans he’ll continue to make music for everyone else to have sex to.

Sunday’s death of Anna Nicole’s Smith’s 20-year-old son, Daniel Smith, continues to be investigated in the Bahamas, where the young man was found sitting upright in a chair after going to see his mother and his new half-sister in the private Doctors’ Hospital in Nassau. 

“The deceased, who had been visiting in the hospital, was supposedly asleep in the chair in the room and didn’t seem to wake up,” Reginald Ferguson, assistant commissioner of the Royal Bahamas Police Force, told reporters.

It’s hard to believe that Jessica Simpson would have trouble finding a date, but that’s what she said on The Ellen DeGeneres Show Monday.

“I think I’m too hard to be in love with,” Simpson, 26, told DeGeneres. “It ends up on the cover of every magazine. I scare people away. I’m a lot to take on.”

She recently dated singer John Mayer, but the relationship has cooled off. “The explosive media attention … put a chill (on the romance),” a close source said. But “there’s still a chance. They’re still talking.”

Daniel Smith, the 20-year-old son of Anna Nicole Smith, died suddenly in the Bahamas on Sunday, three days after the former Playboy Playmate gave birth to a girl, according to a statement from Smith’s attorney. 

Reginald Ferguson, assistant commissioner of the Royal Bahamas Police Force, said Daniel was visiting his mother at Doctors Hospital when he was found in her room at about 9:00 a.m. Sunday morning.
