Details Of Anna Nicole’s Surprise Ceremony
In the early morning hours of Sept. 28 Anna Nicole Smith, her lawyer and confidant Howard K. Stern and a nanny clutching Smith’s 3-week-old daughter Dannielynn Hope slipped aboard the 41-ft. catamaran Margaritaville and pushed out to sea off the coast of the Bahamas’ Paradise Island.Â
But this was no ordinary pleasure cruise. Later that day a Baptist minister and some of the couple’s close friends were ferried to a nearby island called Sandy Cay, where they met up with Smith, 38, and Stern, 37, before setting sail again on the catamaran.
At around 3 p.m., Stern, in a black dress suit and white shirt, and Smith, holding a bouquet of red roses, exchanged vows and Bible verses – as well as temporary rings, because the real ones weren’t yet ready.
After the ceremony “we all cheered and Anna wanted to jump into the ocean,” says John James, Smith’s friend and the former Dynasty actor. “But there were sharks out there, so we sped back to (Sandy Cay), and then Anna and Howard jumped in.”
Guests toasted them with champagne and apple cider before digging into some fresh Kentucky Fried Chicken, delivered by boat to the party.
“It was fun and Anna was smiling,” says James. “Howard and Anna were both crying and kissing and holding hands. It was kind of sad and happy at the same time.”
That pretty much sums up the last month of Smith’s life. Just 21 days before the ceremony – which was not legally binding – she gave birth to 6-lb., 9-oz. Dannielynn in the Bahamas. Three days later her son Daniel, 20, died mysteriously in her hospital room.
Then on Sept. 26 Stern revealed on Larry King Live that he is not only Smith’s lover but also Dannielynn’s father – despite claims by Los Angeles photographer Larry Birkhead that he is the father.
So why add to the drama with what was, essentially, a mock wedding with no official marriage license? “They needed a little adrenaline boost because things have been so hectic and devastating in their life recently,” explains Smith’s Nassau attorney Michael Scott.
Not your typical ceremony, perhaps. But since Daniel’s death, says James, “this was the first time I had seen Anna come out of her grief for a moment.”

Ever since Anna’s death so much pain and sadness has occured. For starters Larry Dickhead immediately trys to snatch Howard and Anna’s baby while Anna’s body was still warm. There is a reason why Anna has Howard’s name on Dannielynn’s birth certificate. She knows/knew who is the best father (regardless of biology), for her daughter and that is Howard. Howard K. Stern has loved Anna for many years and put her first, always. Jim Morrisons’(The Doors)girlfriend received all rights when he died and they were not legally married as their wedding was spiritual and she got half of his estate (his estranged parents got the other half). Leave Howard alone and please grant Anna’s wish and that was Howard to be the one and only father of Dannielynn. Let them live normal lives and Larry Dickhead go back to the rock you came from. Howard do not give up no matter what others think. Make sure Dannielynn stays with you. Good luck and GOD bless your family.

God willing the child will end up in the right hand’s. No one but Anna, know’s who the baby’s father is. If she even knew. But after her son’s death, she did nothing on her own. She did not know what to do, she was under the influence, and always high. But who could blame her, no parent should ever outlive their child. She took advise from the people who were “HER FRIERND’S”.
But when you have that much money and fame, you have alot of so called friends. If in fact Nicole was not in her right state of mind, why should her baby paid for that. That little girl should be with someone with a BACK BONE! Not Howard. He stood by and watched Nicole and her son kill themselfs! You call that love? Lets hope he does not love Dannielynn that much. With and luck, Dannielynn will be in safe hands soon. And not in the hands of some money grubbing lawyer. Matbe thats why Howard allowed Nicole to do the drugs she did. She was them easier to control. See all his talants as a lawyer didn’t go to waste, he got to brainwash Anna and control her mind and money

I realy feel that both Howard and Larry deserve a chance with dannielin and being there for her in her life. She deserves to have everybit of a parents care and love as she can receive. Though easier said than done. Someone will tell her the story of Howard if no rights are given to Howard.

Anna Nicole…….We are very sad that you aren’t alive to defend yourself … in this crazy aftermath of Daniel’s death
I hope Mr. Stern has the manhood to stand up and admit he gave both you and Daniel drugs!
Your baby Dannielynn is precious and we pray she is with the right family and dad for her,and that it isn’t just about the money!! Everyone is out for money .. your half-sister…your Mother..the attorney’s!…….We wish you were still here….WE miss you !!
