Jessica Simpson “renewed her love affair” with her Employee of the Month costar Dane Cook Wednesday night at the film’s premiere party at Tenjune in NYC. According to Page Six, the pair curled up in a booth and spent the evening “whispering into each other’s ears. Dane couldn’t keep his eyes off her and kept coming back to her every time he was pulled away,” according to a source. They eventually left with Jessica’s hairstylist, Ken Pavés.
 
Of course, Dane brought on-again/off-again girlfriend Racquel Houghton to the film’s September 19 premiere in L.A. so the comic is either playing the field or the costars’ booth time is being largely exaggerated (wouldn’t be the first time). Check out the pair’s chemistry for yourself in the above clip from Wednesday’s Total Request Live. They cohosted the show and ran a snippet of Jessica’s new video featuring the song “I Belong To Me” and one terrifying pair of lips. (Vanessa Minnillo must’ve been tied up in the MTV basement somewhere, bound and gagged with Jessica’s extensions).
 
As for Employee of the Month, the New York Times has this to say about the film:

Replete with loser buddies, limp subplots and a dwarf named Glen Ross (Danny Woodburn), Employee of the Month is more tired than a Wal-Mart greeter at the end of a Saturday shift.One can only hope its halfhearted suggestion that winning isn’t everything is some comfort if the movie’s grosses are as disappointing as its jokes.
