Josh Turner Welcomes a Baby Boy
Country singer Josh Turner and his wife, Jennifer Ford Turner, welcomed their first child, a boy, born last Friday at Baptist Hospital in Nashville, the singer’s label has announced.Â
Hampton Otis Turner weighed 8 lbs. 12 oz., says MCA, adding that both mother and child are fine and now at home.
Also this week, Turner celebrated the platinum certification of his album Your Man. According to his official Web site, Turner attended his Platinum Party with his parents, brother and sister-in-law while Jennifer and Hampton stayed home.
Josh and Jennifer married in 2003, the same year he released his first album, Long Black Train.
“I have been so blessed in my career and my life,” the South Carolina native says on his site. “It means so much to me that my family is here to celebrate this special occasion with me.â€
Turner plans to stay home with his wife and newborn before he resumes touring the country next month, says his label.

wow congrads Hampton is a beautiful name.josh just a few yrs ago i saw u in concert when u first started out singing,and now ur a dad u guys are a wonderful couple and ur son will grow to be a wonderful person
