Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe have separated after seven years of marriage. 

“We are saddened to announce that Reese and Ryan have decided to formally separate,” a rep for the couple said in a statement released Monday. “They remain committed to their family and we ask that you please respect their privacy and the safety of their children at this time.” TMZ.com first reported the couple’s split.

After nearly 60 days apart, Jennifer Aniston has arrived to see Vince Vaughn. On the night of October 27, The actors shared the penthouse suite at a London hotel, where the pair ordered room service (steak, veal and red wine). It was the first time the on-off-on again couple had seen each other since their break up (a split that an Aniston friend later downgraded to a “break”). The next day, on Saturday, October 28, the couple took in a matinee performance of the musical Wicked, then returned to the hotel. 

In her first high-profile public appearance since her recent split from husband Bobby Brown, Whitney Houston was the belle of the ball Saturday night at a stellar benefit in Beverly Hills that raised more than $70 million for juvenile diabetes research.

“I feel great,” said Houston, basking in the attention.

The singer, 43, was escorted to the 17th Carousel of Hope Ball by one of the evening’s honorees, her record producer Clive Davis, who told USA Today of the woman at his side: “She’s been through emotional trauma, and everybody’s rooting for her.”
