Anna Nicole Smith Talks About Her Love for Howard K. Stern
Anna Nicole Smith says that she instigated her romance with her attorney, Howard K. Stern.Â
“I wanted more than a lawyer relationship, and then started kind of flirting with him and we kind of got it on,” she says in an interview with TV’s Entertainment Tonight and The Insider, the New York Post reports. “I just kind of attacked him and that was it. I kissed him first. He was the shy one.”
She adds, “He was like, ‘I can’t, I can’t,’ because he always had to go by the books. … I knew I was in love the first time I kissed him.”
Stern, who exchanged vows in a commitment ceremony on Sept. 28, says of their relationship, “This has been going on for years. Unfortunately, we have a lot of enemies who we thought were gonna try and hurt us in certain ways.”
The couple have been criticized for holding the ceremony so soon after the Sept. 10 death of Smith’s 20-year-old son Daniel, but Stern, 37, says the goal was to help Smith, 38, deal with her grief and fear of loneliness.
“For anybody to try and judge us and to try and say we’re doing what’s right or what’s wrong, there’s no way for anybody to understand what Anna was going through when Daniel passed,” he says.
“For Anna and for myself, we felt like we needed it and Anna needed it,” he continues. “She didn’t want to be alone in life.”
Smith’s response to critics? “Don’t worry about us. Worry about your own self.”
In preview clips shown on Thursday’s Today show, Smith says she’s been a virtual prisoner in her Bahamas home because of the interest in her since Daniel’s death. “I can’t even go outside the door. It’s like I’m locked inside the house. … I can’t take my daughter out.”
Up to seven drugs were found in Daniel’s system, according to toxicology reports. Asked by Today’s Meredith Vieira if Smith talks about Daniel’s use of various medications during the interview, E.T. correspondent Mark Steines said, “She was aware of certain aspects of that.”
Steines also said he asked Smith point blank who is the father of her infant daughter, Dannielynn: Stern or photographer Larry Birkhead, who has filed a lawsuit claiming paternity. “She says it is Howard,” he said.
I too had a Jewish attorney. I for one know for fact that “Money” is an issue. Anything you do is revolved around money. My feeling is Howard Stern needed the $$$$ in which he found with Anna N. Smith.
Her (Anna’s) best interest was not about who Howard Stern was about. YOU HOWARD…was NOT the best interest to Anna nor her son. I feel YOU Howard were her demise. YOU HOWARD…were all about the $$$$.
Tho her presense in the media was all but attractive…I’ve always felt HOWARD STERN was behind her media foolishness. Its all about publicity and your Jewish Greed $$$$$. This was quite the “Lost” girl in life…what better than a Jewish man come into the picture to profit from it? May your days be numbered Howard. You will meet your maker one day and my opinion…you taught Anna the game of “Greed”. You the teacher…you the leader…and you the educater. Ive always felt you were the one that influenced her and now she met her demise. GO TO HELL HOWARD!

We need to save our judgements until the courts are finished with the fate of Howard K. Stern. Howard is in big trouble as a lawyer with ethics. BUT, he clearly loved Anna Nicole and he surely adores that precious baby. After watching ET that has been painful clear. He may not of acted in the best interest of Anna recently, but people need to re-read the interview when HE told her “I can’t, I can’t.” She said, always by the book! She was the agressor! she wanted MORE! His mistake was he gave in.

Anna Nicole made the CHOICE to trust and to commit to Howard Stern. She made the CHOICE to trust her children’s care and future to Howard. Anna Nicole made the choice NOT to be with Larry Birkhead. She made the choice NOT to have a close relationship with her mother. Anna Nicole made the choice not to seek Emergency care. She had all of her wishes documeted in the event of her death. These were all her CHOICES. Of course Howard will at all cost protect his beloved’s choices and take care of her daughter. Anna was the Mom and Howard was the Dad (biological or not). That precious little girl is all Howard has left of the woman he loved and adored. Just let them be.
P.S. I didn’t hear aything about Larry trying to get custody of the child he claims is his (only biological)until it seemed the vault doors of moey could be opening.

Leave Howard alone so he can Grieve. He loved Anna deeply. Let’s not forget who took such good care of the baby after Anna died. Howard and her Nanny. Hey, want to go after someone ? How about going after the person make that the “CREEP” who violated Anna by taking her things and selling them on e-bay and else where. Shame on the sellers for not giving the things back to Anna’s Daughter, where they belong. They are no better….
