Willa Ford is Engaged!
ABC Dancing With the Stars alum Willa Ford says that she is engaged to NHL star Mike Modano.”We were out to dinner the other night, and I think he had it with him the entire night,” Ford said Thursday night at the Arby’s Action Sports Awards in Los Angeles. ”He was really nervous. Then right before we went to sleep he asked me and I said, ‘Yes!”’
Modano, 36, a center for the Dallas Stars, gave Ford, 25, a ring, but Ford says her fiance had the jeweler redesign the bauble three times before proposing because he was nervous about having it ”just right.”
The pop singer said that the couple, who met at an event for the hockey star’s charitable foundation, has been dating on and off for more than four years in a mostly long distance relationship. Ford, who lives in LA, plans to marry Modano after his hockey season ends.
