George Clooney Denies Having Date with Pam Anderson
George Clooney is shooting down reports that he’s having a romance with former Baywatch star Pamela Anderson.
“I worked with Pam seven years ago and haven’t seen her since,” Clooney said in a statement issued Friday. “And I’ve never been to that restaurant.”
The restaurant in question is Sherman Oaks, California’s Valley Inn, where it was rumored that Clooney and Anderson recently dined together in a private room.
According to reports, Anderson was spotted sitting in Clooney’s lap and whispering in his ear at the restaurant.
Stories also stated that the pair had begun quietly dating and had been “inseparable.”
A rep for Anderson had no comment about the stories. And the actress hasn’t said anything publicly about them. In a note posted on her Web site Friday, Anderson says she is wrapping up work on Blonde and Blonder with Denise Richards. And there is no mention of Clooney.
