Singer Ziggy Marley and Orly Agai Welcome a Son
Singer-songwriter Ziggy Marley and wife Orly Agai welcomed a son, Gideon Robert Nesta Marley, on Friday.
The baby weighed 7 lbs., 14 oz. and was 20 inches long.
This is the second child for Marley, 38, and Agai, his manager and wife of more than two years. Their daughter, Judah Victoria Marley, turns 2 in April.
Marley – the oldest son of late music legend Bob Marley – has won three Grammys, including best reggae album in 1997 for Fallen is Babylon.
But while Marley obviously picked up a few music lessons from Dad, he said in 1988: “The most important thing my father taught me is that every man has to stand up for his rights.”
