Eli Manning and Abby McGrew Is Engaged
New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning is engaged to longtime girlfriend Abby McGrew, his rep confirms.
As first reported by the New York Daily News, Manning, 26, proposed to McGrew, who works in fashion design, on Tuesday night.
The couple have been dating since their days at the University of Mississippi.
Earlier Tuesday, The New York Times reported that the Giants paid a $5 million bonus to the 6′4″ Manning to keep him under contract through 2009.
Excluding his bonuses, he is set to make a base salary of $6 million this year, $8 million next year and $8.5 million in 2009, the NFL Players Association reports.
