LaLa Vazquez and Carmelo Anthony Have a Boy
MTV veejay LaLa Vazquez and her fiancé, Denver Nuggets forward Carmelo Anthony, welcomed their first child Wednesday afternoon, Vazquez’s rep, Jack Ketsoyan, confirms.
A boy, Kiyan, arrived at 5 lbs. 9 oz., and at 18½ in. – with plenty of time to catch up to his 6′8″ father.
He already has grandmother Carmen Vazquez gushing, “The baby is absolutely gorgeous and I am so excited to have seen my first grandchild!” She added that baby and mom are “doing fine.”
On Tuesday, following the Nuggets’ 106-91 win over the New Orleans Hornets, Anthony, 22, had told reporters that Vazquez was to have labor induced that night. “The anticipation is always high this time when you’re about to have a baby and about to be a father,” he confessed to the Rocky Mountain News before heading to the Denver-area hospital.

In your stiory it states that carmelo is 22…he is not 22 he is 23 and will be 24 on may 29th…jus thought you might want to know this….

That is incorrect. He just turned 23 in May. His birthday is 5-29-84. He wont turn 24 until 2008, making the printing of this story, correct.
