On Friday she told hundreds of NYC public school students as much at a screening of A Place In Time, a global documentary the actress helped direct. The film, shown in conjunction witth the Tribeca Film Institute, travels to more than 25 countries to document the day-to-day existence of people, places and animals in each area as they happen simultaneously.

Britney Spears was pulled over by Beverly Hills police for allegedly speeding but was let off with a warning, authorities say.

The pop star was driving along Sunset Boulevard when she was stopped at 8:45 p.m. Friday. “She was pulled over for speeding,” Beverly Hills police Sgt. Mike Foxen said. “She was warned about her speed and let go. She was not cited.”

Lindsay Lohan, who has been criticized for hitting the clubs after a stint in rehab, says she goes out because she feels isolated.

“Though it’s hard in L.A. not to go out, it gets lonely,” she tells Nylon magazine. “Being an actress is lonely, and I never want to be alone. I hate sleeping alone.”
