Amy Winehouse and Blake Fielder-Civil Wed

Amy Winehouse and Blake Fielder-CivilBritish singer Amy Winehouse married her boyfriend, Blake Fielder-Civil, in Miami on Friday, her rep confirms.

“Yes, Amy did marry today in Miami,” says her publicist Tracey Miller.

Winehouse, 23, and Fielder-Civil, 23, a gofer for music videos, have spent a romantic three days at The Shore Club hotel on South Beach, where since Wednesday they’ve been seen kissing and holding hands.

They had been engaged since April after he proposed to her with a diamond ring from Tiffany. At the time, Winehouse told U.K. newspaper The Sun, “I hope to be with him for the rest of my life.” But the couple had not announced a wedding date.

In fact, the pair has shared a tumultuous, on-and-off relationship. Though they started dating two and a half years ago, they split up for some time. That period inspired Winehouse to write “Tears Dry On Their Own” from her new album Back to Black.

Lately, though, the singer has been nothing short of effusive about her relationship. In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly she said, “We’ve been back together about a month, but we’ve been seeing a lot of each other for quite a few months.” Added Winehouse: “We are best friends.”

    As many know, CBS recently announced that it had canceled the primetime show Jericho. The reason for this was ratings. These failed to take into account the episodes watched on Comcast On Demand, online, on dvr, Itunes, whole families watching, etc. Not only this but CBS put the show on a three month hiatus and then brought it back against American Idol. Despite this, Jericho regularly had 8 million viewers. Jericho has been one of the first shows to generate a massive online community, who were severely dissapointed by the show being canceled and are fighting to get it back. Do you know what CBS had to say to this? “Too bad!” Now, once and for all I urge long time fans, recent fans, and those who just want to do good to make a stand that will force CBS to put Jericho back on the air!!!!
