24 actress Kim Raver is pregnant and due this fall, she has announced.

“I’m so thrilled to be having a second child, I couldn’t keep it secret,” Raver, 40, who plays Audrey Raines on the FOX drama, tells TV Guide.

Raver and her husband of six years, French filmmaker Manuel Boyer, already have a son, Luke, 4.

Baby No. 2 will arrive shortly before Raver’s new series, Lipstick Jungle, debuts on NBC. On the show, based on a book by Sex and the City author Candace Bushnell, Raver will play a fashion editor in Manhattan.

The show’s producers “were incredibly warm and excited for me” when they learned she was expecting, Raver tells TV Guide. Still, her pregnancy will need to be dealt with eventually – “At some point,” she says, “we’ll need to problem solve.”

But Raver is a pro at juggling work and family: She often brought Luke to the 24 set (”My son loves to play with Kiefer’s dog Molly,” she said. “They have playdates”), and he should fit right in on the set of Mom’s new show, which costars Raver’s pal Brooke Shields. “My son is a little older than [Brooke's] daughter Rowan,” she says, “but they get along great.”
