Photos show Britney Spears handing papers to her mother, Lynne, outside a trailer on Thursday, then walking away as her mom sits on the trailer steps, shocked.

Although one report identified the papers as a restraining order, TMZ.com reports that Spears actually handed her mother a letter from an out-of-state lawyer.

According to TMZ, the letter asks that Lynne stay away from Spears’s sons Sean Preston, 1, and Jayden James, 9 months, if she is taking any medications that might cause her to be impaired.

Lily Allen says she doesn’t want to be a celebrity, but she allegedly committed a classic act of celebrity bad behavior: punching a paparazzo.

The British pop star, 21, was arrested in London Thursday on charges of punching photographer Kevin Rush.

The incident allegedly happened back in March as Allen left the Wardour Club in London’s West End with her boyfriend of nearly three years, DJ Seb Chew.

Lindsay Lohan had cocaine and nearly twice the legal amount of alcohol in her system when she was arrested last month and cited for driving under the influence, TMZ.com reports.

The information was posted Thursday morning – shortly after Beverly Hills police started forwarding reports on the case to the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office.

DA’s Office spokeswoman Jane Robison says they are still gathering reports from police and are not ready to release any information on Lohan or to charge her with a crime. Lohan’s arraignment is set for Aug. 24.
