Prince William & Kate Middleton Head to Scotland

Prince WilliamPrince William has whisked girlfriend Kate Middleton to the countryside – scene of their earlier adventures together.

The lovebirds, who rekindled their nearly five-year relationship over the summer, are spending some quality time in the Highlands of Scotland.

They are believed to be staying on his grandmother Queen Elizabeth’s Balmoral estate – a perfect escape for both to indulge in their favorite field sports.

The couple, both 25, flew in from London on Thursday evening, reports the local paper, the Press and Journal in Aberdeen, which also said they sat next to one another in the second row on the British Airways fight – with Middleton occupying the window seat.

“They did not get any special treatment, they were offered the same in-flight snack as all the other passengers, which was a choice of a tuna or chicken sandwich,” a fellow passenger told the paper.

Still they were the first to leave the plane, and then William took the wheel of an awaiting Range Rover as they drove away.

The couple, who met at St Andrews University in Scotland, split up in April but were together again publicly starting in July, at the Concert for Diana that William and his brother Prince Harry hosted in memory of their late mother.
