Jonathan Rhys Meyers’s Mom Dies
The mother of troubled actor Jonathan Rhys Meyers has died after a short illness.
Geraldine “Geri” Meyers-O’Keeffe, 50, passed away at the Mercy University Hospital in Cork Tuesday morning, , according to U.K. reports.
“With sadness, I am confirming that Jonathan’s mother passed away,” his publicist told ET Wednesday.
The 30-year-old Tudors star, who did his second stint in this spring, was arrested at the Dublin Airport for “public drunkenness and breach of the peace” on Nov. 18.
