Mariah Carey and Beyonce Unite for Charity Record

Mariah Carey and BeyoncéForget The Supremes. Step aside, Spice Girls. This may be the ultimate “girl group” of all time.

Fifteen of the hottest female singers in the world – including Mariah Carey, Beyoncé, Rihanna, Miley Cyrus, Fergie and Carrie Underwood – are making beautiful music together for the single “Just Stand Up,” the Associated Press reports.

The collaboration, conceived by Antonio “L.A.” Reid, who produced the song along with Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds, will benefit the Stand Up To Cancer fund-raising drive. (The song will hit airwaves Sept. 2.)

The divas will all unite for a live performance of the single on Sept. 5, during the star-studded Stand Up To Cancer television special, which will air simultaneously on NBC, CBS and ABC. Jennifer Aniston, Scarlett Johansson and Charlize Theron are among the A-listers who have signed on for the telethon.
