Last night, Russell Brand was hosing the VMA’s. He repeatedly made remarks about the Jonas Brothers wearing promise rings. Jordin Sparks spoke out against the British comedian’s jokes about the Jonas Brothers and their purity rings before introducing T.I.’s performance.
“I just have one thing to say about promise rings. It’s not bad to wear a promise ring,” Sparks told the crowd, off-the-cuff, “because not everybody – guy or girl – wants to be a slut.”
I am so glad she did because Russell Brand was NOT funny at all. How did he even get to be the host of the VMA’s?
Jordin Sparks also looked amazingly good. I am so happy that a woman, that is not stick thin, can go up there and strut her stuff without worry. She looked beautiful! Jordin Sparks, I give you two thumbs up! You go girl!
