Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato Team Up in Toronto
Teaming up on the red carpet, Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez thrilled their young fans in Toronto at the premiere of the Disney TV movie “Princess Protection Program” on Thursday evening (June 18).
Playfully posing side-by-side after greeting a massive crowd of gathered fans, the two young stars were also joined by Demi’s half-sister, “Desperate Housewives” star Madison De La Garza.
Surely excited about the night’s festivities, Miss Lovato tweeted: “Ahhh headed to the PPP premier!!! Sooo excited!!! Jammin’ to I Gotta Feeling - Black Eyed Peas!”
As for the new TV movie, which was filmed in Puerto Rico, Miss Gomez recently revealed that Disney tried to separate Demi and herself at night by putting them in different buildings - doing their best to keep their two young actresses well rested.
Selena explains, “They knew we would never get any work done because we’d spend the night and we’d stay up late and talk. That didn’t work — I ended up living in her room half the time.”
Be sure to tune into the Disney Channel when “Princess Protection program” debuts on June 26th, with the DVD version called “Princess Protection Program: Royal BFF Extended Edition” hitting store shelves on June 30th.
