Miss Gibraltar Kaiane Aldorino: Miss World 2009
Garnering the top prize in the pageant community, MissGibraltar Kaiane Aldorino was crowned as Miss World 2009 at the Gallagher Convention Centre in Johannesburg, South Africa on Saturday (December 12).
Looking absolutely stunning in a white-lace evening gown, the 23-year-old administrative clerk was overcome with emotion as the announcement was made-covering her mouth as her jaw dropped in awe.
“I have no words,” Miss Aldorino said upon being asked about her feelings. “I am really happy.”
And now that she’s been given the distinct honor of being named as the reigning Miss World, Kaiane tells of her plans, “I will try to do the best that I can now that I have opportunity and advantage.”
