Rosie O'Donnell: Opposed to Obama's "View" Visit

He made history earlier today (July 29) for being the only current president to ever make an appearance on a day-time talk show, and now President Obama’s decision to do so is being talked about.

Of his sit-down with the ladies of “The View," Rosie O’Donnell said, “I have mixed feelings about that,” she explained on her Sirius XM radio show.

"I don't really think sitting presidents should go do fluffy daytime TV shows. Maybe an hour on ‘Oprah’ or something," the former “View” host remarked.

When she first heard of Obama paying a visit to the morning show, Rosie responded, "I don't really want to see him on ‘The View,’ although I'm happy for them. That's a good booking, and Barbara [Walter's] going to come back that day after her heart surgery."

Pres. Obama on The View Visit

I thoroughly enjoyed listening to Obama on The View. I was beginning to get down on him, but he always offers hope and reconciliation when I hear him on a show such as The View.

Who is Rosie O'Donnell to pick what shows he can appear on? The best thing that got me back to watching The View was when she went off the program. I like their mix of ladies on right now and enjoy opposing views as Elizabeth's, Joy, Goldie and Sherri.

duh!...

did they invite the two teleprompters too...
