Katie Holmes made her Broadway debut in the revival of Arthur Miller’s All My Sons Thursday night – and her biggest fan was in the audience to cheer her on.
“I’m so proud of her,” Holmes’s husband, Tom Cruise, said before the curtain went up on the first preview at New York’s Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre. (The show officially opens Oct. 16.) “This means so much to her.”

Ryan O’Neal and his son, Redmond, were arrested Wednesday at the actor’s Malibu, Calif., home for alleged drug possession, a sheriff’s spokesman confirms.
“This morning, deputies were doing a routine sweep to make sure Redmond was adhering to his probation,” sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore said. “Upon searching the premises, the younger O’Neal was found in possession of narcotics. Later, a vial of drugs were found in the elder O’Neal’s bedroom. We believe the drugs found were methamphetamines.”

Pulling off the big bash – and keeping it a secret – took a bit of sneaky maneuvering and required Lopez to use her honed acting skills, she said.
