George Takei and Brad Altman
George Takei and his soon-to-be-husband Brad Altman are gearing up for their Sunday evening wedding in downtown Los Angeles.
“We’ve been living in sin for the past 21 years,” Takei, 71, says. “It’s high time we made it legitimate.”
The wedding party includes two of Takei’s former Star Trek castmates – best man Walter Koenig, who played Chekov on the series, and Nichelle Nichols, who played Uhura. (Takei played Mr. Sulu.)

Ashton Kutcher can now add “assistant coach” to his resumé just under actor, producer and renowned prankster.
The actor, 30, who played football at his high school in Iowa, is a new assistant coach for the freshman football team at L.A.’s Harvard-Westlake School.
Head of Athletics Audrius Bardzukas says that Kutcher, who is pals with head coach Scott Wood, didn’t benefit from having friends in high places. Like any other job candidate, he was interviewed.

Channing Tatum showed off some smooth moves in Step Up, but nothing compares to the proposal he choreographed for his girlfriend Jenna Dewan.
Over the weekend, Tatum asked her to marry him in Maui in front of close friends invited under the radar to surprise Dewan, a source confirms. He presented a ring by Neil Lane.
