After an unexpected death, Brittany Murphy’s will left nothing with her husband, but he’s okay with that.
The actress passed away on December 20, and left her estate entirely to her mother.
Screenwriter Simon Monjack explained that after the two married in 2007, she had a will and a trust drafted that left everything to mother, Sharon.
At his request, the will says, “I am married to SImon Monjack who I have intentionally left out of this will.”

With her cause of death having just been revealed, sources tell that Brittany Murphy quite possibly could have been avoided had the appropriate action been taken.
Assistant Chief Ed Winter tells Us magazine, “Had someone said, ‘You are going [to the doctor] and thrown her in the car, she might be alive today.”
Continuing on, Winter explains, “She was a sick young lady. She and her mother talked, and she decided to get a doctor’s appointment. She passed away about three or four days before her doctor’s appointment.”

It has been a month and a half since her tragic and sudden death, and now the cause of Brittany Murphy’s passing has been determined.
According to the coroner’s report, the “Clueless” star died accidentally as a result of multiple drug intoxication, pneumonia, and iron deficiency anemia.
Ms. Murphy (32) was found in her Hollywood Hills home on December 20th and attempts by her mother Sharon and husband Simon Monjack to revive her were unsuccessful.

As the investigation into the tragic death of Brittany Murphy continues, her mother Sharon Murphy and husband Simon Monjack are insisting the late actress died of natural causes rather than from drugs and an eating disorder.
In a recent interview, Monjack disclosed that his wife suffered from mitral valve prolapse, though her doctors weren’t concerned that the condition would be life-threatening.
Meanwhile Sharon explained that her daughter had a “fear of dying” and thus wouldn’t have dabbled in prescription drugs as some are speculating.

While more details unravel about the death of Brittany Murphy, a toxicology expert says that an accidental overdose “absolutely could have resulted in her untimely death.”
Leaked notes of an investigator of the coroner’s office showed that medications that were found in the 32 year-old’s bedroom.
“Absolutely, mixing a number of these drugs could have resulted in her death,” Dr. Bruce Goldberger, Professor and Director of Toxicology at the University of Florida College of Medicine said. “At the moment it is pointing towards an overdose or at least that will have to be ruled out by the autopsy or toxicology results.”

Disturbed over the leakage of confidential reports, the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office has launched an internal investigation in regards to the release of information pertaining to the death of actress Brittany Murphy.
According to E! News, chief investigator Ed Winter insists that no one authorized the disclosure of reports which ended up on entertainment news site TMZ.

It’s still hard to believe that she has passed away, and new information has been released about the death of Brittany Murphy.
According to a TMZ report, the “8 Mile” actress was quite ill in the hours that led up to her death yesterday (December 20).
Ms. Murphy was taking prescription drugs to handle flu symptoms that she had been dealing with for several days. By the time Sunday rolled around, Brittany was vomiting frequently and complained to family members that she was not feeling well.
