She’s always been an advocate for gay rights, and now Drew Barrymore will be awarded for her outspoken support.

The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation, otherwise known as GLAAD, is presenting the “Grey Gardens” actress with their Vanguard Award on April 17th.

Drew says, “I was born, bred and raised among diversity, it has defined me and made me the person I am today.”

Adding, “I’m honored and humbled to be receiving this award.”

Venturing out for a pampering session, Drew Barrymore was spotted visiting the Byron salon in Beverly Hills on Monday afternoon (February 8).

The “ET” actress was a bit shy as she exited the beauty parlor after getting her golden locks touched up, as she covered her face before hopping in her ride.

From there, things took a turn for the worse, as Miss Barrymore was on Beverly Blvd. and Doheny Dr. when she was rear-ended by a paparazzo at a stop light.

Enjoying a romantic afternoon outing, Drew Barrymore and Justin Long were spotted hand-in-hand in Los Feliz, California on Monday (January 18).

The “Charlie’s Angels” cutie and her Mac selling beau were both dressed causally, dropping by the local Oaks Gourmet Food and Wine to pick up a few shopping needs.

The sighting comes after a big night the previous evening for Miss Barrymore, as she won Best Actress at the Golden Globes for her work on “Grey Gardens”.

Always keeping the world guessing about their relationship status, Drew Barrymore and Justin Long were spotted shopping together at a Whole Foods on Wednesday (January 6).

The on-and-off again couple looked to be having a nice time as they were seen holding hands and loading up on groceries.

Justin Long has been kicked out! He was booted out of girlfriend Drew Barrymore’s 4-bedroom hillside home early this November.
