Stepping out before the start of another work week, Selena Gomez was spotted in West Hollywood, California on Sunday (February 28).

The “Wizards of Waverly Place” darling held the hand of her little co-star and best friend, Joey King, as the pair grabbed up breakfast at a local Denny’s.

With the two lovely ladies ready to promote their upcoming movie, “Ramona and Beezus,” Selena and Joey both ordered the Grand Slam platter for their morning meal.

“People can talk about me all they want, but it really hurts me when they start to talk about my friends — I get really protective about that, that’s when I think it goes too far.”

She’s always been a part of various charitable organizations, and nowSelena Gomez is once again teaming up with UNICEF to help the Haitian earthquake victims.

The “Wizards of Waverly Place” babe posted a video in which she implores her fans to give to UNICEF in order to further their rescue efforts.

Selena explained, “By now I’m sure you all know about the earthquake that has devastated Haiti. The first 48 hours after a natural disaster are the most critical.”
