Sarah McLachlan is separating from her husband, Ashwin Sood, the singer tells Billboard.com.
“I haven’t said anything about it because I’ve been terrified,” she said. “But I figure … there’s no good time to say it, so I just said it.”
McLachlan and Sood (the drummer in her band) have been married for 11 years and have two daughters, India Ann Sushil, 6, and Taja Summer, 14 months. The Vancouver-based singer described the split as “pretty gross,” but did not elaborate on the causes.
Nicollette Sheridan and Michael Bolton
Nicollette Sheridan and Michael Bolton are again going their separate ways, a rep for the actress said.
“Nicollette Sheridan and Michael Bolton have amicably ended their engagement,” said Nicole Perna. “They appreciate your respect for their privacy in this matter.”
The couple’s relationship originally started in 1992, and lasted for five years.
The musician, now 55, and the Desperate Housewives star, 44, then resumed seeing one another in 2005 – and in March 2006 had announced their wedding engagement.

Tom Arnold’s divorce from his wife, Shelby Roos, was finalized Tuesday after six years of marriage, Los Angeles court documents show.
Arnold, 48, and Roos, 35, separated in August 2006, but the actor’s rep said at the time that they might reconcile. And they did: Five months later, Arnold asked the court to dismiss his petition for separation. But in May, the actor filed for divorce.
