Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds made it official with a wedding this weekend, Reynolds’s rep, Meredith O’Sullivan, confirmed.
This is the first marriage for both. The couple had announced their engagement in May.
Johansson, 23, began dating Reynolds, 31, last year shortly after his split from singer Alanis Morissette, who recently expressed well wishes on her ex’s engagement.
Jennifer Hudson and David Otunga
Jennifer Hudson and boyfriend, David Otunga, have gotten engaged, her rep says.
“I can confirm that Jennifer got engaged to her boyfriend David on Friday night in L.A.” says the rep.
Otunga, who is known as “Punk” from the reality show I Love New York 2, popped the question with a Neil Lane diamond ring on the Dreamgirls Oscar winner’s 27th birthday.
George Takei and Brad Altman
George Takei and his soon-to-be-husband Brad Altman are gearing up for their Sunday evening wedding in downtown Los Angeles.
“We’ve been living in sin for the past 21 years,” Takei, 71, says. “It’s high time we made it legitimate.”
The wedding party includes two of Takei’s former Star Trek castmates – best man Walter Koenig, who played Chekov on the series, and Nichelle Nichols, who played Uhura. (Takei played Mr. Sulu.)
