J. Lo’s Tell-All Drama

Jennifer Lopez paid her ex-husband, Ojani Noa, $125,000 not to air their dirty laundry for monetary gain, but he is proceeding with his plans to publish a tell-all book about their brief marriage, her lawyer said in court documents. Jennifer Lopez is requesting that a Los Angeles judge issue a preliminary injunction against her first husband to whom she was married from February 1997 to January 1998.

Lopez claims that Noa has admitted to making disparaging statements about her in his book proposal, has revealed private and intimate details, solicited paid media interviews, attempted to sell private videos, and demanded $5 million after he signed a confidentiality agreement. Lopez’s attorneys filed a 288 page brief to substantiate her case.

According to court documents, Noa’s book proposal describes in explicit detail Ojani’s alleged first sexual encounter with the entertainer on the balcony of the Doubletree Hotel in Miami. He also plans to write that Lopez’s mother, Guadalupe, is a “racist” and had a gambling problem.

Attorneys for Lopez and Noa are scheduled to deliberate Lopez’s Superior Court motion for a preliminary injunction on Friday. J. Lo is not expected in court.
