Though he was a bona fide teen heartthrob in his “Twilight” movies, Robert Pattinson has grown into a true Hollywood hunk, as is evident in the new preview teaser from “Life,” his forthcoming project with Dane DeHaan.

The “Remember Me” star plays Dennis Stock, a photographer for Life magazine who befriends up-and-coming actor James Dean and embarks upon a historically-significant road trip.

Zac Efron’s “We Are Your Friends” Scores Worst Opening Weekend of All Time

He’s been promoting his new flick nonstop for weeks, but unfortunately Zac Efron's best efforts failed to inspire fans to see “We Are Your Friends” this weekend.

According to industry numbers, the $1.8 million opening run is the worst total of any Hollywood studio film that has played in 2,000+ theaters (WAYF actually opened in 2,333 locations). And given that Warner Bros paid $6 million for production and another $2 million for distribution, there’s a good chance “Friends” will end up a tax write-off.

Horror Film Legend Wes Craven Passes Away

He was the master of making horror films that transcended the genre’s usual audience and sadly Wes Craven died on Sunday (August 30) at age 76.

The “Scream” writer/director, who had two children and two grandchildren, lost his battle with brain cancer and is survived by his wife, former Disney Studios vice president Iya Labunka. They lived together in Martha’s Vineyard until three years ago when work and health forced a move back to Los Angeles.

“Straight Outta Compton” is Still On Top at Box Office

For the third straight weekend in a row, “Straight Outta Compton” has scored the highest ticket sales in the land.

The NWA biopic raked in an additional $13.2 million, bringing its total to an impressive $134 million overall. And the runner up position belongs to a little-known Christian film called “War Room,” thanks to an $11 million opening weekend.
