Scott Weiland Pleads Not Guilty to DUI

Scott WeilandSinger Scott Weiland of the rock band Velvet Revolver pleaded not guilty Wednesday in a Los Angeles court to driving under the influence of drugs with a prior conviction.

Weiland’s attorney entered the plea on the singer’s behalf. His next court date is April 4.

The singer, 40, was arrested for DUI in L.A. on Nov. 21, and was freed on $40,000 bail the following day.

In July 2004, he was ordered to complete a six-month drug program and serve three years probation after pleading no contest to DUI.
