Bono Honored At 2007 Black Ball Concert
The 2007 Annual Black Ball Concert was in full force last night at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City. And there was enough star power to light up the Big Apple during a power outage.
As far as performers, the charity event hosted the likes of Sheryl Crow and Gwen Stefani. Sheryl showed up in a black ensemble including a plunging neckline shirt, complete with a fur-trimmed vest, and fleece leggings topped off with leather studded boots.
On the other side of the fashion spectrum, Stefani wowed onlookers with her stunning blue gown. Her blonde locks were shaped into a fun asymmetrical style, while her crimson lipstick and minimalist make-up made her look like anything other than a thirtysomething mom.
Both ladies performed at the event, which also honored U2’s Bono for his humanitarian efforts. The Black Ball concert is a yearly event that benefits the AIDS charity Keep a Child Alive.
